The Social Launch - Interactive English Learning

The Journey in English | Life Track: Your Way to Speak to the World

Welcome to the Life Track, a special part of ‘The Journey in English’ program. This track is for people who want to use English in real life, not just study it in a book. We move away from boring classroom rules to focus on easy speaking and real confidence. From learning your first sounds to talking with people from different countries, every step helps you feel at home anywhere in the world.

Who is this track for?

Is the Life Track Right for You? The Life Track is perfect for students who want to speak more than they want to study difficult grammar. Are you a traveler who wants to visit new cities easily? Do you want to make friends from all over the world? Or do you love movies and music and want to understand them without help? If yes, this is your path. It is fun, easy to follow, and gives you results you can use today.

Your Gateway to Practical Fluency

Welcome to the next major milestone in your language journey. The Social Launch (Level 02) is specifically designed for learners who have a foundation and are ready to engage in more complex, meaningful interactions. Following the rigorous standards of the Cambridge curriculum, this course focuses on the practical language used in international social and professional environments.

Work, Life, and Schedules

The first part of our journey focuses on your identity in the world. You will learn how to describe various professions, workplaces, and the intricate details of a daily schedule. We move beyond “telling time” to “managing time” in English, using precise time expressions to talk about early mornings, late nights, and everything in between.

The Language of Commerce and Leisure

Effective communication is essential for daily life. This level equips you with the skills to discuss prices, materials, and clothing, making you a confident shopper and a savvy consumer. Furthermore, we dive into the world of music, movies, and entertainment. You will learn how to invite others to events, express your likes and dislikes, and engage in the “small talk” that builds real relationships.

Past, Present, and Home

Deepen your conversations by discussing your history and your surroundings. We explore the Simple Past in detail, allowing you to share your weekend stories and life experiences. Additionally, you will master the language of “home”—describing your living space, furniture, and neighborhood. This ensures that you can welcome the world into your life, speaking about where you live and what you’ve done with absolute clarity.

Why Choose The Social Launch at Questut?

At Questut, we believe that language is a bridge to opportunity. Our 16 interactive sessions are built on the Cambridge “Communicative Approach,” ensuring that every minute of training is spent using the language in realistic scenarios. You aren’t just studying English; you are launching a more capable, confident version of yourself into the global community.

What is the academic focus of Level 02 in the Social Launch phase?
This level transitions from basic situational English to dynamic social interactions. Following the Cambridge University Press framework, we focus on essential life skills such as describing professional identities, managing daily schedules, navigating the world of commerce (shopping), and sharing past experiences.
How does this level improve my professional communication?
In Sessions 03 and 04, we dive deep into "Jobs and Workplaces." You will learn how to describe not just what you do, but where you work and the specifics of your daily routine. By mastering Cambridge’s time expressions (at, in, on, around, early, late), you will be able to discuss work schedules and appointments with professional precision.
Can I use this course to improve my shopping and travel interactions?
Definitely. Sessions 05 and 06 focuses on "Shopping and Prices." You will learn the language of materials, colors, and clothing, and master the use of demonstratives (this, that, these, those) to compare items and express preferences, making you a more confident consumer in any English-speaking environment.
Will I be able to handle social invitations and entertainment discussions?
Yes. Sessions 07 and 08 is specifically designed to help you talk about your interests, including movies, music, and TV shows. You will practice the social art of inviting someone out, as well as how to accept or decline invitations politely and naturally, using correct object pronouns.
How is the "Past Tense" handled in this level?
In Sessions 13 and 14, we move beyond the present to help you recount your history. You will learn to describe your weekend activities and past vacations. The curriculum covers both regular and irregular verbs in the Simple Past, ensuring you can tell your stories accurately.
Does this course cover my home and living environment?
Yes. Sessions 15 and 16 focuses on "Living Spaces." You will learn to describe your home, apartment, and neighborhood. Using "There is/There are" and prepositions of place, you will be able to talk about furniture, facilities, and the amenities available in your local area.
Why is the Cambridge methodology effective for adult learners at Questut?
The Cambridge "Communicative Approach" is globally recognized for its focus on real-world usage. Instead of just memorizing rules, you practice the language in contexts that matter to adults—work, family, health, and social life. At Questut, we ensure these 16 sessions are 100% interactive.
What is the main goal of "The Social Launch" phase?
The goal is "Independence". This phase is about moving your English from the classroom to the "social world". It's designed to help you interact with people in the street, at work, and during travel.
How do the Oxford and Cambridge curriculum work together in this track?
We use Oxford for building a strong foundation (Phonics and Basic Sentences) and Cambridge for social and professional launching. This combination gives you the best of both academic worlds.
